Our Beliefs

Imagine a world in which women are able to engage fully and control their own financial lives.

Behavior is influenced by customs and established social norms. But historically, being financially savvy and taking an active role in financial decisions has not been the accepted social norm for women. In fact, being financially savvy is most often not equated with being feminine. People may say they believe in something, but until it becomes “normal,” their actions may very well revert back to the socially accepted behavior.

DyMynd has taken years of personal experience, industry expertise and academic research and developed three fundamental beliefs to crack the code on women and finance:
We believe that cultural norms in society have historically undervalued women’s role in finance. However, that is changing dramatically. Women are ready to engage. Finance needs to respond.
We believe that women have unique perspectives on finance that require a sophisticated response; women are NOT mini-men. Finance can’t just “pink it and shrink it” for us.
We believe that to engage women, finance needs to lose the “suit” and show that it can be SEXI (Sophisticated, Engaging, eXciting, and Intelligent).
